appalachia
bottled beer. this picture was taken a week ago. it turns out that they have all gone bad, because there is a bacterial infection from the siphon hose i used to fill the bottles.
Tip: store your tube and siphon gadget in your primary fermenter (plastic tub) that is filled with your cleaning solution (pink crystals). Be sure to pump your siphon gadget so that the solution flows throughout the tube and sits in it.
This way, everything stays clean. I also siphon cleaning solution into my secondary fermenters (glass) and let that sit. That also helps to ensure the hose is always clean.
It should also be replaced every year or two.
I make lots of wine and beer and have never lost a batch due to spoilage.
